There are quite a number of image hosting sites out there but Photobucket has got to be a personal preference. It seems though, that a few months ago, the site only had the new Flash-based uploader without any obvious option to switch to the old one.

This shouldn’t be a problem since Flash has improved as a technology over the past years. In my experience, however, the uploader seems to get bonkers once in a while. The old form-based uploader doesn’t seem to encounter such issue.
If you have want to disable the Flash uploader without having to uninstall Flash (which is tedious), you can simply append ?nosrcipt to the end of your URL in your browser’s address bar.
For example:
http://s91.photobucket.com/albums/k302/tipz/?noscript
This will disable the Flash uploader and use the old form-based uploader instead.

Thank you so very much for this tip. Im a FreeBSD user, and have to use the Linux version of flash, which doesnt get along with the new Photobucket uploader, it about made my account useless. I like Photobucket otherwise.
They dont even have this tip in their “how to’s”, I guess they think the whole world runs on Windows or Mac. They really should enable an option on the page for a person to select which one they want.
Much appreciated.

The version in Windows gets wonky too so this also helped me a lot when I discovered it.

Thank you! Flash 10 on a PPC mac sucks bawls and is slow. I loved the older uploader much better, and thank you for telling me how to get it back!

Thanks! I just wish I could upload multiple pics at once instead of one at a time. Is there a way I can do this? With flash my uploads would stop half way through and I would have to cancel it and start over.
