How to Wash a
Designer Diaper Bag
Now-a-days, stylish designer diaper bags are all the rage. Popular bags are
made with silks, brocades and other rare fabrics. On the other hand, they are
still diaper bags! That means they endure plenty of spills, mishaps and
accidents. How do you keep that designer bag looking like a stylish purse
instead of an old, worn out bag that carries your baby stuff? You wash it in
the washing machine, of course. Be sure to check with them manufacturer to see
if there are any fabrics used that cannot get wet. To wash a designer diaper
bag, you can simply take the handles and place them around the agitator in your
machine. This keeps the bag from getting crumpled with your other clothes. You
may choose to wash your bag with other clothes or on its own. You definately
want the diaper bag to hold its original shape. Take it out of the machine and
let it hang dry. Presto! Your designer diaper bag is as good as new.
Best Potty Training Tips
Potty training doesn’t have to be hard, as long as you follow the tips below
- Start when your child is ready. He or she will let you know by showing an
interest in what you do, pulling on his or her clothing and feeling
uncomfortable in a wet diaper.
- Keep it fun and exiting. It’s all about positive reinforcement. Give your
child lots of praise, try stickers, candy or a small toy as rewards.
- Don’t make a big deal out of accidents. They will happen and your child
will get over it quicker if you don’t get upset.
Choosing Baby Names
When Mum and Dad come from different counties.
Now I can tell you from personal experience that this is not that straight
forward. With 10 days to go before our son is born, we are still in "baby name"
limbo-land stuck between english and italian origin names!
The best tip I can suggest is that you prepare a short list of names from
each origin - say 15 from each. Then for each name, work out what the equivalent
is in the origin of your partner (your list will grow somewhat).
Then start cancelling out any "gender confused" names, i.e. Andrea in English
is a girls name, but in Italian it is a boys name. In the end its going to be a
compromise, but it is possible to whittle down the list to a few names that work
well in both languages and cultures and will not be a mouthful for both sets of
in-laws to pronounce. Good luck!
