Symptoms of Swine Flu
Let us deviate from our normal routine of how-to articles to discuss a few things about one thing that concerns us all at this point in time – swine flu. A lot of people in Mexico have suffered and died from the illness and it is spreading hard and fast across the continent and across continents.
The media storm and the scare is enough to make anyone paranoid of a simple sneeze, so before you bathe in Lysol, let us point out the symptoms of swine flu.
The tricky thing about the swine flu is that it shares all of the symptoms of the typical flu which include:
- Sneezing
- Fever of around 100.4*F (38* C)
- Runny nose
- Headache
- Muscle ache
- Tiredness
- Possible diarrhea
Experts say that swine flu often gives afllicted people a more violent diarrhea but the degree also varies from person to person. The nasty thing about this is that only lab tests of secretions and the blood can determine if you have the swine flu or not. If you start to feel any of the symptoms, don’t hesitate to visit your medical practitioner so they can determine exactly which strain of the flu virus has got you. As long as you are generally healthy, a person can weather swine flu out like a typical flu.
