For those who would like to have fun without risking their health, here are tips on how to use latex condoms safely and efficiently.
Use water-based lubricants when using latex condoms. Oil-based lubricants can reduce the effectiveness of the condom.
Always check the expiration date or the manufacturer’s date before buying or using a condom.
Store condoms properly. Never store iit in your wallet, or your car’s glove compartment. Friction against leather and the heat in the car can deteriorate the latex condom.
Correctly open the condom’s package and take it out properly as well. be careful not to rip the condom or put a hole in it.
Air bubbles in the condom while using it can also cause the condom to break. To prevent air bubbles, you should roll the condom over the tip of the penis. Make sure that you take the top of the condom, with about half an inch between your forefinger and thumb. This is enough space to collect semen. Roll the condom over the penis with one hand while squeezing air out o the condom with the other. Roll the condom until you get to the base of the penis. Smooth the condom to be sure that there would be no air bubbles present.
Remove the condom before it loses its firmness. Hold the base firmly and pull out, making sure that you grip on the condom. This way, semen will remain within the condom.
