Windows 7: How to Use Windows Logo Shortcuts

A really good way to save time using Windows is to use shortcut keys. Since Microsoft’s so damn, almost all keyboards that you can buy for the PC has the Windows Key. Never mind if you’re using it for Linux. Most people just dismiss it as a key that would launch the Start Menu but there’s more to that. Here are several shortcuts that are quite indispensable for the keyboard ninjas working on Windows.
- Windows Key + E – Launch Windows Explorer
- Windows Key + R – Launch the Run Command
- Windows Key + F – Launch Windows Search
- Windows Key + D – Show/hide desktop
- Windows Key + X – Launch the Windows Mobility Center
- Windows Key + Spacebar – Preview desktop by making all windows transparent
